The former president's Granddaughter Gets Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete getting ready for major competition

The rising star has substantial online audience

Kai Trump will have multiple high-profile backers when she begins her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in Florida.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, owns multiple courses worldwide and often matches against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"My grandpa basically suggested to play and relax," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's just an ordinary family member. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him rather occupied."

While still amateur, Kai has competed in a mere three competitions recently and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

Yet she's able to get advice from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's a superior person. He advised me to compete, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."

Kai will face some of top competitors in professional golf at this tournament, featuring world number two the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Officials mentioned that her participation exposes the sport to different demographics, particularly among youth audiences.

The young star boasts a massive following and just introduced her own apparel and wellness brand.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
